Some poker players think that by sharing information with their friends on Party Poker, they can gain an advantage and cheat their opponents. This is known as poker collusion, two or more players will use a chatroom, instant messages or even the telephone to tell their friends what cards they have. They can each decide whether or not to continue with their hand or fold it based on that information.
Players could also cheat by "chip dumping" - A player will help out his friend by losing some, or all, of his chips to either keep their friend in the game with a bigger chip count or boost their chip count to take the lead in a tournament and give them a great chance of winning or taking a good money finish.
