Okay you get two cards, then you bet or fold based on what you have. The dealer deals another card that counts for all the players and you bet again. Each player is dealt two cards (whole cards) face down. There is one round of betting. Then the first 3 community cards (flop) are placed face up on the table. There is another round of betting. Then a fourth community card (turn) is placed face up on the table. There is another round of betting. Then the fifth community card (river) is dealt face up on the table. There is a final round of betting. The players then show their cards, and the best 5 card hand wins (each player has their 2 whole cards, plus the 5 community cards they can use to make the best 5 card poker hand out of their 7 availbale cards.)That is the basic structure of the game.
