So how can Doyle Brunson run an Online Casino without the FBI on his back?

1.) Doyle Brunson is the biggest, most high-profile name in poker.2.) Internet gambling with an American clientele is illegal, so much so owner/operators of online casinos have been arrested right at the airport coming into the country.3.) Yet Brunson, living in the U.S. and promoting a site that takes American accounts (his name is on it, as if we can't make this any more obvious), hasn't seen the inside of a jail cell. What gives?

The game of poker or playing poker hasn't been outlawed. What the U.S. government did was to put a law onto the books that makes it very difficult to deposit funds into or withdraw funds out of the poker sites. Without going into the details(mainly because I don't what they are), the government has made it illegal for U.S. banks to participate in the transfer of funds for these sites and so the alternatives have made it hard for the smaller poker sites to make a go of it. However sites like Full Tilt Poker, Pokerstars and a few others have decided to continue doing business, and are doing so in a legal manner.

Besides, Doyle has nothing to do with Doylesroom....he's just the face of the site. He receives his endorsement check each month and thats it. He has nothing to do with the day to day operations.On a side note, Doylesroom was imho the best site out there before it banned US players. Now it really sucks. It's changed for the worst.
