Cap |
To take the last of the maximum amount of raises allowed per round of betting. |

Cash Game |
Also known as a Ring Game.A cash game is a poker game played with "real" chips and money on the line, usually with no predetermined end time. In contrast, a poker tournament is played with tournament chips (worth nothing outside the tournament) with a definite end condition (usually, only one player left). |
Cash Out |
To leave a game and convert your chips to cash. |
Chase |
To call in the hopes of hitting a draw. This word often connotes that someone is a calling station and will call even with weak odds. |
Check |

Check-Raise |

Chip Dumping |
A form of cheating where a player deliberately loses hands until alltheir chips are passed to a partner player. |
Chop |
To return the blinds to the players who posted them and move on to the next hand if no other players call. It also means to 'split the pot'. |
Clearance Rate |
For a bonus, it is rate per hour that you can expect to make clearing a bonus at a poker site. |
Coffee Housing |
This is when players chat about a hand they are involved in, with the intent of misleading or manipulating other players. |
Cold Cards |
A player who is receiving cold cards is usually an experienced rounder who is having bad luck due to a long running string of bad cards. |
Collusion |
When two or more players conspire to cheat in a poker game. |
Community Cards |

Connectors |
A Hold'em starting hand in which the two cards are one apart in rank. |
Counterfeit |
Sometimes a card will come on the board thatwill hurt your hand because it makes previously valuable cards in your hand communal property. For example, suppose you hold A9 in a game of Texas Hold'em. The board is 5678. You hold a straight to the 9! However, if the final card on the river comes a 9, your hand is counterfeited. Now, everyone has a straight to the nine. |

To beat a hand - typically a big hand. You hear this most often applied to pocket aces: "Third time tonight I've had pocket aces cracked." |
